Gii Capital

Gii Capital provides debt finance to established mid-large corporate enterprises and governmental bodies, both as a primary lender and as a participant in the secondary debt market.

We are a cash flow lender, rather than an asset backed lender, comfortable with a wide variety of financing structures, including complex debt securitisations.

Gii Capital primarily provides Euro denominated finance to parties domiciled in Western Europe, but is willing to consider providing finance in any OECD country and in any major currency, based on the merits of the borrower and the sector in which it operates.

We take a long-term view in developing our business, and seek to build lasting relationships with both our borrowers and our counterparties in the debt finance market.

Gii Capital primarily provides finance through the Gii Trade Income Fund (“GTIF”)

GTIF is an investment vehicle of GII Funds SICAV SIF, a Luxembourg public company in the form of a Société anonyme qualifying as a société d’investissement à capital variable – fonds d’investissement spécialisé, with company number B218184 and registered office at 1B, rue Jean Piret, L-2350 Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”)

Whilst Gii Capital is not an ESG lender, we will only work with parties that can demonstrate strong corporate governance.

Gii Capital prefers to work with parties whose business activities result in a positive environmental and social impact.

Glenn Inniss

CEO

Founder of the Gii Finance Group. Investment sales and structured finance professional, with significant experience in structured finance advisory and high value debt syndications. Experience outside the investment and banking sectors includes establishing and heading the financial management consulting practice and finance outsourcing business for a global IT services company.

Peter Soulsby

Chief Investment Officer

Senior corporate and investment banking professional, with experience covering a wide variety of asset classes. Functional experience includes: business origination, corporate account management, credit management and debt syndication. Technical expertise in structured and leveraged finance.

Dr. Dieter Falke

Head of Investor Relations & Investment Principal

Senior financial professional with experience encompassing investment banking, corporate banking and asset management, and with particular expertise in risk analysis and risk management. For two years, in the earlier part of his career, Dr. Falke was Group Treasurer of a major German automotive group; this was followed by seven years as a member of the Management Board of a major German bank, with responsibility for the bank’s Treasury and overseeing the expansion of the bank’s international network. His experience also includes the founding of both an investment banking and an asset management group.

Senior corporate and commercial banking professional, with extensive experience in financial services sales to corporates. Broad financial services leadership experience, including serving as CEO of a LATAM challenger bank.
